Katlin + Mateo's Winter Maternity Session at Harris Nature Center | Okemos Michigan
Katlin and Mateo are expecting their second little one this month!! Octavia will be a big sister VERY soon and the whole family is super excited. I couldn’t be happier for them!
We photographed back at Harris Nature Center for their maternity session - the same place we used for their engagement photos! It’s such a special thing to watch a family grow, and it was an honor to be able to capture these special moments for Katlin and Mateo.
She chose two gowns from our studio wardrobe to use in their photo session. The lace was definitely a little chilly! I always bring lots of hot-hand warmers with for winter sessions to help warm up, and Katlin and Mateo brought extra blankets for between shots too. Boots are another thing I always recommend - they aren’t going to be seen under a long gown and can always be traded out quickly for other shoes or even barefoot if desired.
After session snowball fight time!!! While mamma was warming up in the car, Octavia and her dad had a little snow ball fight!
